A Date for your Diary – Summer Beer Festival 7 July 2012

written by on November 18th, 2011 and filed in Blog, Calendar of Events

Well even though we are working like mad to make sure Winterfest 2011 is going to go ahead successfully on 10 December in the Village Hall we can’t stop thinking about the future. With that in mind we are pleased to announce that our fabulous Haddenham Summer Real Ale Festival will be held at the Haddenham Youth and Social Centre as per normal on

Saturday 7 July 2012.

So there is no excuse for double booking if you put it in your diary now.

Dear HBF, I should love a chance for my band to play at the beer festival – we are a 4-piece (drums, bass, guitar, keys) doing originals and covers in a pop/jazz groove, age range veteran (50) to young-blood (25)…we’re in it for the love so don’t need paying (though a few drinking vouchers always welcome)…please pass on my details if possible..

    Thanks,

    Steve

btw, forgot to mention that we are local blokes and have been to the HBF before…in fact I played there with a band called Groov8 in 2009…was a great day!

  3. Dear Haddenham Beer Festival,

I’m writing because I’m in an acoustic duo called Kiki, and we are very interested in performing at the festival. Here is some information about us:

Kiki are a professional acoustic duo with a passion for live performance. Featuring the powerful vocals of Fiona Stephenson and the multi-instrumental skills of Nicholas Shaikh, Kiki play music from a variety of different genres and eras ranging from old school classics right up to contemporary chart-toppers.

Nicholas and Fiona have been performing all their lives and have experience playing at private events, venues, pubs and hotels all over the UK and internationally. We have all our own equipment and transport.
You can find our website at www.kiki.org.uk or you can access our promotional video directly at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_J1uHgZrGI

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Nick

Hi David, I play with band ‘The Vibes’ and we performed at the Beer Fest last 2 years and was hoping for an afternoon slot again this year?
We had a great time there last twice and have loads of family and friends asking if we are playing.

    • David says:

      Hi John

I have asked Natalie to speak with you on this. She has been away in America so may not have had chance yet. I will remind her when I see her this weekend.
